What we do not collect
Dental Cost Estimate does not offer accounts and does not ask for your name, email address, date of birth, insurance member ID, or any other personal identifier. The calculator runs in your browser. The numbers you type into it are used on your device to display an estimate and are not transmitted to us or stored by us. There is no way for us to see, save, or share a calculation you perform.
Server and infrastructure data
Like nearly every website, the hosting infrastructure that serves these pages processes standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, in order to deliver content, maintain security, and prevent abuse. Our hosting provider runs on Cloudflare infrastructure, which may set a short-lived bot-management cookie (for example __cf_bm) to distinguish automated traffic from human visitors. These logs and cookies are managed by the infrastructure providers under their own policies and are not used by us to identify you.
Advertising and Google AdSense
This site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a consent message provided through Google's certified consent management platform will ask for your choices before personalized advertising cookies are used. Analytics
This site does not currently run a separate analytics product. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any analytics tool is enabled.
Children
This site is a general-audience educational tool about dental costs and insurance. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Because the site collects no personal information directly, changes will normally concern advertising or infrastructure disclosures.
